Placemaking is a project that aims to create life with art as a tool in 8
different locations on Sealand in Denmark. All the places are being
transformed in cooperation with local citizens.
The project aims to experiment with development processes to test what happens when temporary art is working close with the engagement of local citizens as a catalyst for cultural city development.
We were invited to do a project in Ellekildehave.
We built structures out of wood and filled them with concrete to create several sculpture foundations. They were connected with paths of wood that formed chill spots and a nice environment for the locals.
