Invited to participate in the internatioanl exhibition “INSIDERS – experience, practice, knowhow” in Bordeaux at the Arc en Rêve centre d’architecute, it was our ambition and also an experiment to start up a French department of Bureau Detours during the exhibition period.

In phase 1 the first visit, a functional work station and office was created in close collaboration with a group of French architectural students – a physical symbol of the new department in Bordeaux. In phase 2, we continued building and the installation kept growing all the way up under the ceiling in the beautiful, old customs house in Bordeaux.

We continue to meet up with Bordeaux department when the projects match.
