With the sequel to OLK at Koldinghus, Bureau Detours and the Helsingør-partners wished to create an exhibition on Ole Lund Kirkegaard, that invited the visitor into a universe built on free interpretation of the urban environment that took place in many of Ole Lund Kirkegaard’s stories.
The exhibition consisted of key elements from the books, plus activity oriented spots like the janitors shed, the industry area and a factory with an open workshop for the visitors.
In short, we wanted the exhibition to awaken the inner tease of all ages. The child were inspired to do naughty things, and parents reminded that they themselves were once little rowdy kids who did not always respect the adults.
The exhibition was open for about six months and visited by nearly 60.000 kids and parents.
